Joining Synapse
Back in early 2018, I joined Synapse, as the second designer on board. I took on the responsibility of designing our core products. One of these products was the Operations Hub, which was at the Version 1 stage when I joined. I had the privilege of being involved in designing the Version 2 as well.
What is the Operations Hub and why is it important?
The Synapse Operation Hub, or "the Dashboard," is the main portal for clients, offering oversight and management of user activities and business operations. It's vital for clients' teams, handling tasks from monitoring transactions to adjusting company fees.
In need of V3
Discussions for Synapse's next design system centered on enhanced agility, with a focus on speed, reliability, and user experience.
Aiming to boost agility without compromising integrity, we emphasized interaction, detailed updates, and flexible designs. Using Microsoft Fluent UI, we matched the visuals to our new brand and enhanced user flows and experience.

Launch of V3
As we approach the launch date of early 2023, we are thrilled to announce that a bigger piece of the V3 of our dashboard has been launched in the sandbox for testing and user feedback. The team is currently observing analytics and synthesizing feedback to make sure that we can deliver the best possible user experience with the V3 launch. Additionally, we are excited to share that we will be launching more interaction models that will significantly aid in the user experience of the V3 dashboard.
